The Honest Woodcutter

 

Moral of the story-  Honesty is always rewarded.

Bank-  the side of the river, canal etc. किनारा

Axe - a tool with a wooden handle and a heavy metal plate कुल्हाड़ी

Sad -  unhappy  दुखी

Deep -  a large distance from surface to the bottom गहरा 

Strong -  power शक्तिशाली

Handsome -  good looking  सुंदर /  रूपवान

Angel - Messenger of God / a good and kind person  देवदूत

Dived -  jumped into water डुबकी लगाई

Pleased-  felt happy  प्रसन्न 

Preserved -  keep something alive or safe from harm or danger संरक्षक

Creature -  a living thing प्राणी

Business -  directivity of making,   buying or selling goods for money व्यापार

Slipped -  slid out of your hand फिसल गया
