         Q2.     Write any two properties of water.
Ans- Following are two properties of water:
a.    Water is colourless
b.    Water is odourless

         Q3.     Why does a tiny stone sink in water?
Ans-  Tiny stones sinks in the water because the area that is in contact with water is smaller when compared to the weight of the stone.

         Q4.     What is a water solution?
Ans- Water solution is a product when a substance gets completely or partially mixed in water.

         Q5.     Write two conditions that affect the making of water solution.
Ans- Following are the two conditions that affect the making of water solution:
                 i.  Stirring- Stirring increases the rate of mixing
                ii.  Heating- Heating increases the rate of mixing       


Q6.     Does soap from water solution when put in water?
Ans- Yes, soap forms water solution when it is put in water.

Q7.     Do you think a leaf will float in water? Why?
     Ans- Yes, a leaf will float in water as it is lighter than water.

Q8.     Water exerts push. Explain with example.
Ans- Water pushes anything that obstructs its path while flowing. For example: water can move the sand on the beach.
