Ans- Servants went to the bedroom at eleven o’clock in the night.

7.    What did Rama do with the box?
Ans- Rama dropped the box into the well.

8.    What did the servants do then?
Ans- The servants started drawing water from the well.

9.    What were the servants doing at 6 o’clock in the morning?
Ans- Servants were drawing water from the well at 6 o’clock in the morning.

10. Rama didn’t want to waste the water, what did he do?
Ans- Rama didn’t want to waste the water. He dug a channel which flowed to the trees and plants in the garden.

11. What did Rama say to the servants?
Ans- Rama asked the servant to go out of his house.

Ans- Rama’s servant started pouring the water out seven hours ago.

Fill in the blanks in the following sentences with ‘have’ or ‘had’:

  1. I had a car last year. I don’t have a car now.
  2. I have only ten apples now. I had twelve yesterday.
  3. I saw Ramu and his brother yesterday. They had books in their hands.
  4. I had a parrot, but it flew away.

Make five sentences from the table below to match the following sentences:
