Ans- There are 12 desks in the middle row and 12 desks in the back row.

Ans- Boat club is next to the picnic area.

4.    What road passes by Ajay’s house?
Ans- Ring road passes by Ajay’s house.

5.    What other way could Ajay use to get from his house to his grand mother’s house?
Ans- Ajay could use Ashoka road to get from his house to his grand mother’s house.

Do you like to float paper boats? Listen to the poem given below.

Day by day I float my paper boats

I would use a kite to send a similar message to someone.

(ii) Also find out how people sent messages in olden days and how they send them nowadays.

People used to send messages in olden days via pigeons or sending messengers.
Now a days we have various channels for sending messages like SMS, Email, fax. We can also send video and audio messages through various apps.

Ans- I saw my grandparents waiting on the railway platform when I reached the destination.

Ans- I like the greenery of this place.

Q. How long did you stay there?
Ans- I stayed there for almost a month.

Q. What did you miss about home?
Ans- I missed friends from my neighbourhood.

Make sentences using any two new words which you have learnt in the lesson.

Sentence- I was amazed to see that reading waves of water in the water park.

Word-  interruption
Sentence- I study in early morning hours to avoid interruption.

Which do you think would be more fun - travelling by aeroplane or sailing on a ship? Write why you think so.
Ans- Sailing on a ship will be more fun because I would catch the sight of skyline, seagulls and dolphins. Watching the sunset from the sailboat will be a marvelous experience.
