Lot of people come daily during visiting hours which are 6:30 am to 12 noon and 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  Taxi service called safari is available to wander in the forest area.

Dear Jaya,
We went to ooty during last summer vacation. Ooty is a hill station in Nilgiri hills of Tamilnadu. Ooty stands at an approximate height of 7,500 feet above sea level. We had visited many places some of which are the botanical garden, ooty lake, boat house, stone house, toda huts, st. Stephen’s church, wax museum and tea gardens.
Stone house is the first pucca house of ooty. Kalahatty is a world class site for hand gliding. One good thing about the place is that plastic carry bags are banned here from years and the shopkeepers prefer only recycled paper or cloth bags.

Yours,
Anupama

Activity-
