Ans- Following things can be done to keep rivers clean:

     2-  Treating the municipal waste
     3-  Treating industrial effluents

Q. If you want to drink some water, from which part of the river would you like to drink? Why?
Ans- I would like to drink the water of the river from the mountain region as it is the cleanest water.

Q. Will there be same amount of water in the ponds or rivers during the rainy season and in summer?
Ans- No, the amount of water in the ponds or rivers will be more in rainy season compared to summer.

Q. Find out the many different ways of cleaning water at home.
Ans-  Following are different ways of cleaning water at home:
      1-  Boiling
      2-  Using Filters
      3-  Using Purification drops. Tablets
      4-  Solar treatment
      5-  UV treatment
      6-  Using Bleach/ alum
