Project Work
(1) Collect leaves of different types and paste them in your scrap book. Notice difference in colour, margin and shape of these leaves.

(2) Take the rubbings of any leaf using paper and crayon. Paste it in your notebook.
(3) Take the rubbings of the trunk of a tree and paste it in your notebook.

Friendship with a tree-
Choose a tree near your school or house and make friends with it. A lasting friendship!
v  What tree is it? Ask some elder if you don’t know.
v  Will you like to give your friend a special name? What will you name it?
v  Does the tree bear flowers or fruits? Which ones?
v  How do the leaves of tree look?
v  Do animals live in the tree? Which ones?
v  Draw the picture of your friend tree and colour it.
